When work, travel, or emergencies make school pickup impossible, AuthorizedPickup provides a safe, pre-authorized transportation option – without relying on neighbors, friends, or last-minute favors. We exist for moments when you still want control, even when you cannot be there in person.
How Our Service Works
AuthorizedPickup provides pre-arranged school pickup and transportation for families who are temporarily unable to collect their children in person.
All services are:
- Requested by a parent or legal guardian
- Authorized in writing
- Limited to point-to-point transportation only
Who Is This Service For?
This service is for:
- Pre-registered families
- Approved schools
- Authorized destinations only
The service is not available to the general public. Schools release children to AuthorizedPickup drivers acting as authorized agents of the parent, similar to a nanny, tutor, or family designee. The Company does not independently determine custody or release.
Strictly Transportation
The Company’s role is limited strictly to transportation.
We do not:
- Provide childcare or supervision services
- Offer waiting or after-school care
- Retain custody beyond the transport window
- Supervise children outside of the vehicle
What Makes Us Different
We operate with a narrow, clearly defined role to prioritize child safety and institutional clarity.
The schools from which we pick up or drop off are not required to contract with the Company. Participation consists solely of:
- Recognizing the Company as an authorized pickup agent for enrolled families, and,
- Applying existing release policies
Most importantly:
- We are not a rideshare, nor do we use rideshare (Uber, LYFT) drivers
- We are not a marketplace
- We are not a childcare service
- We don’t hire or use gig drivers
- We don’t use open dispatch – everything is scheduled
Safety & Oversight
We operate strictly as a pre-authorized pickup provider, not a rideshare, and serve only pre-registered children from approved schools.
