Is AuthorizedPickup like Uber for kids?
No. We are not a rideshare and do not operate an open marketplace. All trips are pre-authorized, parent-initiated, and completed by employee drivers.
Who are the drivers?
All drivers are:
- Employees (not contractors)
- Background checked
- Trained in child pickup protocols
- Assigned and monitored by the Company
Do you provide childcare or supervision?
No. We provide transportation only. We do not supervise children beyond vehicle transit.
What schools do you serve?
We currently serve approved schools in Collin County, Texas, where parents have listed us as an authorized pickup agent. Availability varies by school and location.
Can you wait with my child if I’m late?
No. Waiting or supervision would constitute childcare, which we do not provide. We will only transport when conditions meet our protocols.
What if my child’s school refuses release?
Schools release children based on parental authorization. If a school declines release for any reason, we notify you immediately.
What happens in an emergency?
Drivers follow strict emergency protocols:
- Dispatch is notified immediately
- Emergency services are contacted if needed
- Parents are informed in real time
