We operate with strict limits and safeguards to protect children, families, and schools.
What We Do Not Provide
To be clear and transparent, we do not offer:
- Rideshare or open dispatch
- Gig or freelance drivers
- Babysitting or childcare
- Waiting or after-school supervision
- Multi-family ride sharing
Our role is intentionally narrow – transportation-only.
Parents or legal guardians complete enrollment, which includes:
- Identity verification
- Child profile (including photo)
- School information
- Authorized destinations
- Emergency contacts
- Signed Texas parental delegation & transportation authorization
This step is required before any service is available.
Step 2: School Authorization
You list AuthorizedPickup as an authorized pickup agent with your child’s school, just as you would a nanny or family designee.
Schools release children based on your authorization.
Step 3: Membership Activation
A monthly membership is required to:
- Maintain enrollment
- Keep authorization on file
- Ensure standby availability
Membership does not guarantee unlimited pickups; it guarantees eligibility and priority access.
Step 4: Requesting a Pickup
When a need arises:
- You submit a pickup request
- Requests are parent-initiated only
- Pickups are dispatched based on availability
- Short-notice or emergency requests may incur premium pricing
Step 5: Pickup & Drop-Off
Upon confirmation of the ride:
- Driver arrives with identification
- Child identity is verified
- Trip is GPS-tracked
- Drop-off is confirmed digitally
- You receive notifications throughout
Responsibility ends immediately upon verified drop-off.
